Scottish acrobat Kate originally trained as a professional dancer. After completing a BA (Hons) in Dance Kate moved to London to further her training and focus on acrobatics, graduating three years later with a BA (Hons) in Circus Arts.

Kate has now been coaching for over fifteen years and runs her own school. She coaches multiple disciplines regularly and prides herself on being a versatile artist with a passion for movement.

As well as coaching Kate can be hired as a creative consultant or director. Past projects include being circus director for Beauty and the Beast at the Oxford Playhouse, co-director of Aerial Edge show Circ:us, acrobatics consultant for An Experiment Without A Voice and work on a variety of solo and group pieces for both performances and competitions.

Kate is particularly interested in being involved in work that explores crossovers between multiple art forms.
